Welcome to Me-Prep! This Privacy Policy explains how PrimeLeaper LLC ("Me-Prep," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about our valued restaurant, food vendor, and merchant partners ("Merchants," "you," or "your") in connection with your use of the Me-Prep platform and services ("Platform").

By registering as a Merchant on Me-Prep and using our Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Merchant Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information we collect automatically when you use our Platform, and information from third-party sources.

Information You Provide Directly:

Registration and Profile Information: When you register to become a Me-Prep Merchant/business owner/restaurant partner/food vendor, we collect information such as your business name, legal registration details, contact person's name, email address, phone number, physical business address, zip code, cuisine type, and a description of your restaurant/services.
Meal Listing Information: Details about the meals you offer, including names, descriptions, ingredients (as provided by you for display), prices, images, videos, and any other information you provide for the Platform.
Operational Information: Preferred pickup schedules, business operating hours, and any other operational details you provide for the Platform.
Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., for support), we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

Information We Collect Automatically:

Platform Usage Data: We may collect information about your interactions with our Platform, such as IP addresses, log data, device type, browser type, operating system, pages viewed on our vendor dashboard, features used, dates and times of access, and other diagnostic data.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Platform and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Information From Third Parties:

Payment Processing Information: We use Stripe for payment processing. While we do not directly store your sensitive financial details like bank account numbers or full credit card information, we receive information from Stripe related to your Me-Prep transactions, payouts, and Stripe account status (e.g., Stripe Account ID, payout summaries). Stripe's use of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Verification Information: We may use third-party services to verify your business information or compliance with applicable regulations.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

To provide, operate, and maintain our Platform.
To process your registration and set up your Merchant account.
To facilitate customer orders, including communicating order details to you.
To process payments and manage payouts through our third-party payment processor (Stripe).
To communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries, sending service announcements, updates, and administrative messages.
To market and promote your meal offerings on the Me-Prep Platform to potential customers.
To improve and personalize our Platform, including understanding how Merchants use our services.
To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Platform.
For compliance purposes, including enforcing our Terms of Service, or other legal rights, or as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency.
To prevent fraud and ensure the security of our Platform.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share the information we collect in the following circumstances:

With Customers: We share your business name, meal descriptions, prices, pickup location, operating hours, and images with Me-Prep users to enable them to view your offerings and place orders.
With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), data analytics, marketing assistance, customer service, email delivery, and hosting services. These third parties are obligated to protect your information and are restricted from using it for any other purpose.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of PrimeLeaper LLC; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Platform; (d) protect the personal safety of users of the Platform or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.
Business Transfers: If PrimeLeaper LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract.
With Your Consent: We may disclose your information for any other purpose with your consent.

We do not sell your personal merchant information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your own passwords.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods will vary depending on the type of information and the purposes for which we use it.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Account Information: You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by logging into your Merchant dashboard or contacting us. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please contact us, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Communications Preferences: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Platform integrates with third-party services, most notably Stripe for payment processing. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services (e.g., Stripe's Privacy Policy) to understand their practices.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
